Yahhoo Messenger Brides? That’s what I call them.

January 2006 when I started using the internet access of several internet cafe here in Maasin, Southern Leyte. And there’s one thing I discover on the internet users here, mostly they are female.

Female? They are the women who are looking for husbands from USA, Canada, Japan, UK and China.

With the new technology used by the Yahoo Messenger services, women here can freely talk with their future husbands. They can even freely show some parts of their body using the webcam hooked to the computer in a closed door client room.

And the result? Some of the women here in Southern Leyte have Whity and Tally Husband.
