Sueing Google Inc, like what KinderSmart.com did, for a site’s lower Page Rank (PR) is just a trick to get the attention of many. KSP kasi.
A parental advice Internet site has sued Google Inc., charging it unfairly deprived the company of customers by downgrading its search-result ranking without reason or warning.
The civil lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in San Jose, California, on Friday by KinderStart.com seeks financial damages along with information on how Google ranks Internet sites when users conduct a Web-based search.
If our site got number on the Search Result (SR) in Yahoo and MSN, doesn’t mean the site should be on the top of the Search Result in Google because Yahoo, MSN and Google follow different protocol in ranking sites.
I don’t know if the webmasters or the owners of the KinderSmart site understand what I’m saying above. Maybe they are completely ignorant because:
The lawsuit notes that rival search systems from Microsoft Corp.’s MSN and Yahoo Inc. feature Kinderstart.com at the top of their rankings when the name “Kinderstart” is typed in. (LINK)
Let’s consider my Jewel in the Palace blog. If you use Yahoo in searching the keyphrase, “Jewel in the Palace“, you’ll notice that my blog is on the top 5 of the search result for this day, but it doesn’t appear on first page of the search result when using Google.
