There’s another Bill passed to US Senate:
Apparently - the proposal has been revived once again by a pair of Senate Democrats; Max Baucus of Montana and Mark Pryor of Arkansas, who introduced a bill called “Cyber Safety for Kids Act of 2006,” requiring the US Department of Commerce to work in tandem with the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), a global internet governing body, so as to develop a domain name system which will house material deemed “harmful to minors.” The bill suggests that .xxx be used as the domain name ending.
And it is said that:
Under this legislation, all pornographic Web sites will be required to relocate under .xxx. In effect, parents will be able to use software to block their children from accessing these sites. Besides, Web sites failing to comply with these conditions will be liable to face civil penalties as decided by the US Commerce Department. (LINK)
It might be good to isolate the porn sites by relocating them to dot XXX domain, however, I suggests that porn sites should be banned on the internet.
Porn sites do not only influenced people on their way of dealing sex and opposite sex but, most of them also contain Trojans and Viruses.
