Question: How many churches are there that Christ recognized as His own?

From the declaration of Christ, it is already clear that there is only one Church that He founded by saying “My Church” not “My Churches”:

18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Matthew 16:18, NKJV)

Apostle Paul also clarified that there is only one body:

4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;(Ephesians 4:4, NKJV)

And remember that the body is the Church:

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18, NKJV)

Therefore: There is only one Church that Christ recognizes as His own.
