Christians consider Mr Brown as traitor to the Truth about Christ:

Dan Brown, author of The Da Vinci Code is just one in a long line of people who have either directly or indirectly tried to misrepresent, obscure or emasculate the power of the Christian narrative. (LINK)

Although he never professed any Christian faith but still he is accused of betraying just like what Judas did to Christ:

However, I was wondering if these Christians who accused Dan Brown and his Da Vinci Code also noticed that most of the Christian Sects existed today are teaching to their followers the Christ different to the Christ taught by the Apostles and Christ Himself? But I don’t think they would notice it since they’re part of those sects.

Anyway, you better believe the Bible than those fictions created by artistic minds like of that of Mr. Dan Brown. Beware of those professing Christians but are teaching different Christ and different God from the Christ and God taught by the Bible.
