Question: Would it be possible for Christ to save those who are not members of His Church?
Answer:
Christ clearly said that those who are not part of Him like a branch that has been cast out from the vine will be thrown into fire:
6If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. (John 15:6, NIV)
In other words, Christ will not save them and they will die for their own sins:
24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24, NKJV)And it is also clear the Christ will save His Church:
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:23, NKJV)
But God will judge those outside:
13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” (I Corinthians 5:13, NKJV)
Therefore: It will be possible for Christ to save those outside the Church if they will join the true Church of Christ because He is the savior of it but outside the true Church of Christ it is God Himself who will judge.
