Church Changed Its Name
Question: Did you ever know that the Roman Catholic Church is the Church of Christ? It was just recently made official through the Church council that the name of the Church of Christ will be “Roman Catholic Apostolic Church”.
Answer:
To let you know, the true Church of Christ didn’t changed its name.
It was already written on the Holy Scriptures that the church founded by Christ is the Church of Christ:
16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you. (Romans 16:16, NKJV …see also The Name of the Church)
No one gave this name but God Himself, and there’s salvation on this name:
let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:10,12, NKJV)
Members of the Church of Christ didn’t go beyond on what is written:
6Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, “Do not go beyond what is written.” Then you will not take pride in one man over against another. (I Corinthians 4:6, NIV)
Because it’s God’s will not to add nor subtract on what is written.
18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book. (Revelation 22:18-19, NIV)
Saying that “the name of the Church changed” is again another proof that the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church is not the true Church of Christ.

In Romans 16:16 it was mentioned as “churches of Christ” does this mean that Christ built more than one church? Adding to that my english teacher told us that a proper noun starts with a capital letter. You don’t have to be a linguist to understand that.
Well. I think there’s no need to explain it again because it was already explained on my previous posts…. or you can also read this >>> The Name of the Church
