Is it possible to make money on the moon? This question raised on my head after knowing that one of the aims of space exploration is to make money on the moon:

Making money on the moon is an essential part of the U.S. plan for space exploration, NASA officials said on Friday after a four-day strategy workshop with international space officials and scientists. (link)

I wonder what kind of business they could established on a humanless moon and earn money from them.

Maybe they will launch a Lunar Walk Resort and then transport those tourist who want to experience Lunar Walking. Spaceships will be going in and out the earth carrying those adventurists who want to stroll around the circumference of the moon or want dive the deep craters of the moon

They might build a swimming pool there. Water will be placed on a wide pool with artificial wave machine on it. Of course the water supply will be coming from the earth by transporting the increasing level of sea water to the moon.

Well, let’s plan about it too.
