Wait a minute! Did you find SECTORIATE.EXE on your C:\ directory? If you find it there, then you are already hosting a Mass Mailing Worm on your computer system sending fake patch for Yahoo Messenger to all contacts listed on your Yahhoo Messenger contact.

According to Symantec, if this worm is activated, it copies itself as SECTORIATE.EXE on your C:\ directory. After that it adds the value to the system’s registry:

“Yahoo Patcher!” = “c:\sectoriate.exe”

and it will make sure that everytime the Windows restart, the SECTORIATE.EXE will be activated, by adding

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

to the registry subkey.
