Question: Is it not the Saints, who are in heaven and mediators of men to God, the proof that Roman Catholic Church is the church founded by Christ?
Answer:
To let you know, those Saints of the Roman Catholic Church are already dead and they remain in grave:
5 Adrift among the dead,
Like the slain who lie in the grave,
Whom You remember no more,
And who are cut off from Your hand. (Psalms 88:5, NKJV)
Men will not enter the Heaven until the return of Christ:
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[a] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: (Matthew 25:31-34,41, NKJV)
So, teaching that the Roman Catholic Church’s Saints are in heavens proves that this church is not the true Church of Christ.
And to inform you, the true Church of Christ has only one mediator between men and God, and it is Christ Himself:
5For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, (I Tim 2:5, NKJV)
Therefore, the Roman Catholic Church is not the true Church of Christ.
