Breast Cancer on Men

World Health Organization: Tumours of the Breast and Female Genital Organs (Who/IARC Classification of Tumours)I thought, Breast Cancer will only occur on women, because their breasts are different from men. I was surprised to know that there are men who are suffering from this illness. Stuart Weaver (link) of England is one of them. And it was even said that there are more or less 300 men who develop Breast Cancer a year:

Breast cancer is relatively rare in men, with around 300 a year developing the condition compared with 41,000 women. (link)

And they were treated like those woment patients.

“Mr Weaver’s case is being treated in the same way as all women in Kent who are currently put forward for the drug based on their individual clinical needs.” (ibid)
