I found it more interesting playing the Google Trends Labs search engine. We can use this to know how a certain keyword has been used by internet users in searching the Google Search Engine.

Previously, I am using the Google Zeitgeist on studying the searches of the internet users based on keywords used. Sometimes, I based by blogging activities on the popular keywords and keyphrase reported by the Google Zeitgeist, since as a blogger, I should ride on the latest keywords trend on the internet, to gain more traffic for it and increase adsense income of course.

Now, with the new service of Google, the Google Trends Labs, we can compare the world’s interest in our favorite topics:

With Google Trends, you can compare the world’s interest in your favorite topics. Enter up to five topics and see how often they’ve been searched for on Google over time. Google Trends also displays how frequently your topics have appeared in Google News stories, and which geographic regions have searched for them most often. (link)

For example, I searched for the trend report on the term “Adsense”. The Google Trends showed this image:

The above graph shows the number of searches made from 2004 to the this date, and the graph below it shows how often the “Adsense” has been featured on the Google News.
