Did you know that Christ created a one new man in Himself?
I think only few professing Christians knew about this. But if we will examine the Holy Bible, we will learn that Christ created a one new man in Himself. Who is it? And what’s the purpose for Christ to do it?
Well, we will answer that using the Holy Bible. First, we will verify if Christ really created a one new man in Himself. Apostle Paul on his letter to the Ephesians 2:15 said that out of the two, Christ created a one new man in Himself:
15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, (Ephesians 2:15, NKJV)
See! From the two Christ created a one new man. What are these two, in which the one new man was created? Apostle Paul again answered that the two are Christ Himself and His Church. Christ as the Head and His Church as His Body:
18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. (Colossians 1:18, NKJV)
But, why did Christ created the ONE NEW MAN? From the frist verse we quoted the answer was there. According to the verse, it was done to obtain peace.
15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, (Ephesians 2:15, NKJV)
Peace in what? In giving the life of Christ to the Church.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, (Ephesians 5:25, NKJV)
Now, we should take note that based on the verse we recently quoted, Christ gave his life for the Church, not for all men in earth but for all the men in His Church. And through His precious blood, Christ righteously owns the Church because He already purchased it.
28 Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God[a] which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28, NKJV)
But, why should Christ need to create a one new man in which He Himself is the head and His church is His body, for Him to righteously gave His life to the Church? This is because there was a law of God concerning those who should die for the sins. The law states that the Father should not be put to death for their children’s sins, nor the children for their fathers’ sins, instead each is to die for his own sins:
16 Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their fathers; each is to die for his own sin. (Deuteronomy 24:16, NIV)
Now, for Christ to die for the sins of those men in His Church is righteous in God’s eyes because those men are already part of his body.
4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. (Romans 12:4-5, NKJV)
That is why Christ said to those who are not part of his Church, “You will die in your sins”.
24 Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:24, NKJV)
Those who are not part of Christ’s Church will not be saved by Christ because Christ will save only His body, the Church:
23 For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. (Ephesians 5:23, NKJV)
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18, NKJV)
And outside of it will be the God’s Judgment.
13 But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” (I Corinthians 5:13, NKJV)
So, if you want Christ will save you from the wrath of God, you must seek the truth and find the true Church of Christ. Don’t be contented on what your pastors or priests teach you. You need to join the true Church of Christ which your pastors or priests do not know about it, but only the Bible does.
