I learned from the GoogleBlog that the BlogSearch service of Google is now offering a feature that allow us to narrow our searches by dates.
Today we launched a new feature on Google Blog Search that lets you narrow your search by date. Using this feature, you can track blog posts on your favorite topics according to when those items were posted. We’ve also incorporated some improvements in search quality that should make your blog-search experience even better. (source)
This features helps me a lot in searching blogposts by targeting the dates they were posted. Before, searching for old posts led me to spend more time in finding them. What I did is:
- Open the BlogSearch site.
- Search through the BlogSearch site using a keyword.
- Click on “Sort by Date” which can be found at the upper right corner of the page.
- And then click the “next”… found at the bottom of the page, until I finally found the posts I am looking for.
So, with this new feature, I will just search for the posts using keywords and specify dates. With that easy steps, I can easily find the posts I needed to read.
