I already applied twice for the membership in Chitika’s Publishers but then I was rejected twice. On my first application, they replied that the site I submitted to them is not qualified for the Chitika Ads Publishing and they encouraged me to apply again with my other sites. So, after a month I reapplied but then I was again rejected telling me that they are thinking that I am not the owner of the site I submitted by merely considering my email address.

However, with these failures, I am still interested to join the Chitika’s Ads publishers.

The post of Caroline at the Digital Point Forums made me realized that those rejections I received were all because of me and my sites. Caroline empasized that in applying into the Chitika is like applying for a job. I should convince the admin of Chitika that my sites are qualified for their Ads Publishing services. I should give them the impression that I don’t need them but they need my sites.

In order to do it, I should tell them a good description of the site submitted such as Visitors Statistics, Honors received by the site or any achievements of the site, and then the polite and good explaination why you are interested to work with them.

1. Visitor statistics, such as main age group and main geographical location. It’s better if can you verify the stats in some way.
2. Honors your site has received, such as links/mentions from important sites or offline media.
3. Advertising Campaigns run in the past. If you have a scripting websites and you’ve run ads for software or similar products that have performed well, you should definitely mention it, because that’s precisely what they’re looking for.
4. You should close your description with a polite explanation why you’re interested in Chitika and how you look forward to working with them. (source)
