Gaining Salvation
By. Sustines E. Laplana
We Christians know that we need salvation because we believe that one day, the world will experience the wrath of God.
However, we have our own belief on how to gain salvation. Some say that by merely believing Christ and accepting Him as our personal savior is enough for us to receive salvation. There are other Christians who said that as long as we remain righteous, Christ will save us from God’s judgment. This is confusing, isn’t it?
But, do we really know what the Bible say on how to be saved? Let us not forget that the truth about Christ and our Salvation are all written on the Holy Bible, because the Bible is the word of God. In other words, we should make sure that what we know on how to be saved should be based on the Bible. Let us not make our own way on gaining salvation but we should follow the instructions given by God to us through His messengers because only God knows what to do, and all of these are all recorded on the Holy book, the Bible.
