Did you know that among the so-called gods, there is only one true God?
According to the Apostle Paul, there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth.
5For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), (I Corinthians 8:5, NIV)
For example, the graven images are called gods,
3“You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; (Exodus 20:3-4, NKJV)
The devil
8 Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9 And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” (Matthew 4:8-9, ibid)
who is the ruler of this world
11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. (John 16:11, ibid)
is also called god.
4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (II Corinthians 4:4, ibid)
Moses was made god for Pharaoh or was god for Pharaoh.
1 So the LORD said to Moses: “See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. (Exodus 7:1, ibid)
But, among those so called gods, we should not forget that there is only one true God, the Father.
6 yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and through whom we live. (I Corinthians 8:6, ibid)
Noone knows this truth, that is, the Father is the only true God, but only those who are members of the Church of Christ (see Only The Church of Christ Knows).
