Which comes first, the egg or the Chicken?
This question has been answered already by scientist, farmer and philosopher in UK. It was the egg that came first.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? According to a scientist, a philosopher and a chicken farmer, it was the egg, British newspapers reported. (source)
We all know that the United Kingdom prefer to believe the evolution theory rather than the creationism of the Holy Bible. It was explained that the existence of chicken is through the evolution of the bird. The first chicken emerged from an egg laid by different species bird.
Professor John Brookfield, from England’s University of Nottingham, concluded that because of this, the living organism inside the eggshell would have had the same DNA as the chicken it turned into.
Papineau, an expert in the philosophy of science, argued that the first chicken must have emerged from an egg even though it was laid by a different species of bird, but it was still a chicken egg because it had a chicken in it. (ibid)
The term “CHICKEN” is not mentioned in the old testament. But in the book of Genesis, it is recorded that God created the birds according to its kind.
20 And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:20-21, NIV)
And the Chicken is one kind of birds.
In the New Testament of the Holy Bible, the term CHICKEN is not mentioned. However the term HEN and the CHICKS are mentioned:
37″O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. (Matthew 23:37, NIV)
