Amazon sent me email, anouncing the launching of the Amazon Link Enhancer or the Amazon Associates Product Preview which was in beta testing for several months.

Product Previews are a portal into Amazon.com, directly on your Web site. When users hover over a preview-enhanced link, a small window appears containing valuable content and information about the product you’re advertising including an image, new and used prices, average customer review and availability. It also gives your visitors the ability to add the item directly to their Amazon.com shopping carts.

As one of the beta tester of this product, they told me:

As a Beta participant you do not need to make any changes to pages where you are already showing Product Previews. All of your visitors will now have the same experience while on your Web site; they will see Product Previews 100% of the time.
