The SEO Philippines thru the SEO Expert, Marc Macalua, launched the SEO Contest 2. It started on October 28, 2006 and will end on February 27, 2007.
I am still thinking if I will officially join the contest or just join the SEO competition but not as official contestant. I know that even without joining officially the contest will still bring me something good for my sites, just like what Sir Abe Olandres had revealed that joining the SEO competition even without registering to be the official list of contestant, made him earn dollars.

Though I didn’t officially joined in that one (I only serve as one of the sponsors), I was actually able to monetize the site that I used to compete/experiment (just under $400 as of today). See, you don’t need to officially join and compete to earn big bucks. That’s prolly the best lesson I learned from it.

But I think, I can maximize the positive effect of this contest to my site if I will officially join the contest. What if I will win one of the prizes and at the same time monetize the site even better?
