This blog is hosted actually by the PlogHost.Com, the company owned by Yuga who blogs at YugaTech.Com/Blog.

There were times that I wondered why the pages of this blog which received high traffic were being set private or disabled from public viewers. I asked their customer support about it and told me that it was automatic and that no one had enter my account and changed manually the settings of my blog’s pages.

After reading Yuga’s post “Getting Dugg Quick Fix“, I again wonder if it is possible to change the private/public status of a certain post in Wordpress system using a script?

Login to your Control Panel and disable the dugg page. You can do this by renaming the file or the post slug. If you can’t do that, try disabling read permissions to the page or the folder/directory it is on. This will give you some time to prepare for the switch to a static HTML version. Disabling the page will prevent your site from going down if the exponential flow of traffic from Digg still continues.

I was really confused about it, but still thankful to the YugaTech system for it help me save my blog from temporary suspension. At least only the affected pages were disabled not the whole blog.
