It’s been a long time since I started asking my self if I am already a professional blogger. I didn’t find answer on it and thought that I couldn’t change my blogging career from amateur to professional.

However, based on the post of Sir Abe Olandres which answers those who criticized his blogging activities, I finally realizes that I am really professional blogger. I was an idiot who couldn’t think of the arguments that Sir Abe Olandres used:

I said the pro’s get paid to do it. A professional driver gets paid to drive; a professional photographer gets paid to shoot pictures; a professional basketball player gets paid to play hoops; a professional crier gets paid to cry on burials.

In the same sense, a professional blogger gets paid to, you guessed it, blog. So, what’s so damn wrong if professional bloggers are getting paid to blog, except for the fact that the concept is so new to people beyond their 40’s (excuse the pun)?

Yes, those who are paid to do something can be considered professional just like what Sir Abe said. And since I am get paid to blog, therefore I am professional.

However, I am still doubtful whether I am already professional in the way I write, the way I blog, the way I reply comments or the way I do my works as blogger. Remember that I still using my bad English grammar. And the worst thing I am doing is, copy and pasting the product review of others….
