As of writing this post (December 26, 2007) our blog has a problem of showing the post where a users posted his comment. For example, you will post a comment a certain article of this blog. After clicking the submit comment button, the Wordpress system doesn’t redirect the user to the page or post where the user submitted the comment.
If we’ll look at the code of the wp-comments-post.php file we’ll find this:
$location = ( empty($_POST['redirect_to']) ? get_permalink($comment_post_ID) : $_POST['redirect_to'] ) . ‘#comment-’ . $comment_id;
$location = apply_filters(’comment_post_redirect’, $location, $comment);wp_redirect($location);
This code actually works for the redirection after processing the comment posted. But since it doesn’t redirect so I am thinking that there was a problem with setting the variables for $location or else the problem was at the code of wp_redirect() function.
I am still searching information how to fix but still failed to found. If you know how to fix please help me. Thanks
