I was reading lately the book on Science, “Living Things and Their Environment,” for the Second Year High School. This book was released by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (Philippines) under Hon. Onofre D. Corpuz during the Marcos’ Regime.

On page 102 of this book, I found this:

“A frequently mentioned contraceptive device is the IUD or Intrauterine Device. It comes in various shapes like loops, rings, spirals and are mostly made of flexible plastic. This device is inserted in the uterus by a trained health person. It is believed that the IUD prevents the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterine wall. The fertilized egg simply passes out of the body.”

Now, if it is true that fertilization process happened inside the uterus with IUD inserted, then life was there already. The fertilized egg must be implanted to the uterus for further development, however IUD prevented it thus it will come out of the body. And I think it is already considered an abortion process.
