Vic Chou, the youngest member of Asia’s most popular group F4, continues his winning romantic pairing with Barbie Xu in the extraordinary new Taiwanese drama, MARS!

An adaptation of the popular Japanese manga MARS, this television series is directed by the acclaimed Cai Yue Xun. Vic plays two characters, tragic twin brothers with dark and explosive passions. Zero is reckless, brutal and passionate, losing himself in the thrilling speed of motorcycles. On the other hand, Saint is quiet and reserved and expresses his passion through drawing. They are a pair of loving brothers until the arrival of Saori; when Saint cannot accept the fact that Saori loves Zero, he commits suicide. Zero is overcome by guilt and ends up in a mental instituation for two years. Even after release, he is an incomplete person and pushes everyone away…until the arrival of Kira (Barbie Xu), who manages to reach the deepest wounds buried within Zero. Kira herself also has difficulties interacting with people due to a traumatic event from her childhood. Can these two wounded souls heal each other and learn to love again?

MARS features an impressive production, and the thrilling motorcycle races were shot on location in Japan! Both Vic and Barbie received rave reviews for their performances, and, with other upcoming young stars in supporting roles, MARS is undoubtedly one of the best Taiwanese television shows of 2004.
