I don’t think Socially Driven sites like Digg really hate SEO sites in contrast of what the Pronet Advertising said on its blog:
I present to you one YouTube video that covers every reason why Digg and Digg-like hate SEOs and their blogs, and why they are justified in their hate.
It might be true that submitting our sites and blogs to Socially Driven sites like Digg will give our sites a huge but temporary traffic, however it’s not the business of the SEO. From the term itself, SEO (Search Engine Optimization/Optimizer), it is understood that we’re dealing on the SERP not on the ranking of the submitted sites on socially driven sites.
I think, it is better to say that Digg-like-sites hates spammers’ sites than saying they hate SEO. Some people forget that those who are dealing with digg-like-sites are not called SEO but SMM. In other words, it’s the SMM-Spammers’ sites who are being banned and hated by the digg-like-sites.
