When we last left Wai Siu Bo (Stephen Chow), he had just sent the fake Empress Dowager Lung Yi (Sharla Cheung) packing, and was in the process of restoring order to the Emperor’s court. Deer gets adapted and skewered in Royal Tramp II, the sequel to director Wong Jing’s hilarious hit comedy Royal Tramp! Having established himself as an Imperial player, Wai Siu Bo earns plenty of new enemies, including evil kung-fu bad guy Feng Shi Fan (Yen Shi Kwan). But as Wai Siu Bo’s fabulous luck would have it, he gets transformed into a powerful kung-fu master with no worldly equal! Now the terror of the martial arts world, Wai Siu Bo sets out to quell a growing rebellion, as well as insult and make a mockery of anyone who dares cross his path. Action director Ching Siu Tung amps the action for this sequel, and the already impressive cast is improved by the addition of Brigitte Lin and the gorgeous Michelle Reis! Stephen Chow is at his droll comic best in Royal Tramp II, a hilarious sequel that easily equals and even surpasses its predecessor!
