It was reported earlier that Google is trying to build artificial intelligence:
We have some people at Google (who) are really trying to build artificial intelligence and to do it on a large scale,” Page said to a packed Hilton ballroom of scientists. “It’s not as far off as people think.
It is the result of Google’s belief that the brain’s algorithms are not complicated and can be approximated with a lot of computational power.
Okay… that’s how Google believe. I just don’t know if they will succeed on this. But Sent2Null, a commenter at CNet News commented:
As an engineer my guess is AI will emerge not from current traditional silicon computers but instead from a combination of quantum computers and silicon computers once commercial quantum computers are available. So I guess not for another 15 - 20 years.
But who knows…
I’m sure Google really believes nothing is impossible, … and might succeed on this. I have just one suggestion… please creat and AI of me.
