Maximize Blog Monetization with Kontera

Last October 2006, I emailed the Adsense rep, asked them if I can use Kontera ads along with the Adsense ads. An Adsense rep answered me that running another contextual ads like Kontera is a big No-no. So, just to stay in the safe side, I disabled all the Kontera codes in all my blogs.

However, with the changes made on the Adsense Policies, it seems that running Kontera-like ads is already allowed, because what the new Adsense policies prohibit us to do is to publish ads (contectual or not) which looks like Adsense.

In order to prevent user confusion, we do not permit Google ads or search boxes to be published on websites that also contain other ads or services formatted to use the same layout and colors as the Google ads or search boxes on that site. Although you may sell ads directly on your site, it is your responsibility to ensure these ads cannot be confused with Google ads.

Again, I emailed the Adsense Team about it and an Adsense rep told me affirmatively. With this, I decided to use Kontera ads to maximize my blogs’ earning potential (but not on this blog because I don’t want to annoy you with the ads of kontera).

Just to let you know, most of my sites use Adsense, Adbrite, TextLinkAds and affiliates ads for monetization. And now, Kontera ads will be added.
