Yuga, the owner of the Ploghost which hosts our blog, emailed me last Saturday (February 17, 2007) telling me that my account’s use of Server’s CPU has increased a lot. One of the things he pointed is the upgrades of my two blogs (on my Ploghost’s account) to Wordpress 2.1.

I don’t really know if the CPU usage increase is related to the Wordpress 2.1. It might be true that Wordpress 2.1 uses more CPU compared to its older versions but I think, I should also consider the traffic of these two blogs (Songs Lyrics and SELaplana) which might caused the increase of CPU usage. Take note that my Songs Lyrics blog’s traffic is now increasing again, as much as the traffic of my SELaplana blog as shown on the screen shot of its stats below:

By the way, I am worried what to do if both of my blogs will receive much trafffic a day. That will definitely affect its CPU usage which might end up to the suspension of my sites…
