Viacom to mate Joost? What a title?

Anyway, it was reported that Viacom after being disappointed to GoTube (YouTube) finds its new and more appealing mate, the Joost.

Joost, according to the press release, offers a TV-like service built with the Web 2.0 technology:

Currently available in limited beta, Joost combines the best of TV and the best of the Internet by offering viewers a unique, TV-like experience enhanced with the choice, control and flexibility of Web 2.0. Can Joost really compet with YouTube?

Well, I can’t answer it yet because Joost is still on its beta stage (and I am still waiting for their approval to beta test their service) and don’t have enough content and users compared to the YouTube.
