My fiancee asked me this: What can a teacher like her do online?

Actually, there are many things that we can do online whether you are a teacher or not. Example of these things are, chatting, surfing, reading information from one website to another etc. However, I encouraged her to do things which can be used as source of her extra income.

Tutorial. I learned from my chatmates that there are students who are looking for online tutors. So, what should you do? Okay, what you need is just computer, internet connection and webcam, and you’re ready now for the online tutorial. But how can tutor seeker find you? Okay, so why not build a website? Or you can even find a student by yourself offline.

Blogging. Every teacher has his/her own experience in dealing with students. Each of them has his/her own techniques used in teaching. And I know that most of the effective teaching strategies are taught to them when they’re still in college. Now, you can use all of these in blogging. Share all your thoughts, knowledge and observation in teaching through blogs. Create a blog now and start blogging. Then after a week of blogging, apply for the Google Adsense publishers program and start earning dollars through your blog.

Reminder: If you are accepted to publish Google Adsense ads, don’t ever do the mistakes made by beginners to Adsense because it will only end up on banning your blog from Adsense and suspending your account as well. Remember that it’s not actually easy for beginners to make money through adsense… just build your blog through the knowledge that you have and…… you’ll succeed.

Now, if you started these two things I suggested, start hanging out in forums and interact with the forumers, because it’s one way of promoting your business online.
