I finally joined the Explode Community and I want to explore this new site whether it is true that this site is a simple way to connect to all my friends regardless of their network. I am also wondering what this means: “connect to all my friends regardless of their network”. Does it mean, I can connect to my friends at Friendster, MySpace and other network sites?

I am new to this so I am just following what it’s telling me. And it said that to start making friends, I need to fill in my profile:

And then, I was told to embed the given code to my site, but I am not ready yet.

I will think first if I can embed this code to my site because I am currently using the widget of MyBlogLog.

While exploring the site, I found these cool features:

1. Javascript can be customized including the image widgets
2. Explode Account can now be used as OpenID because Explode is actually an OpenID affiliate.
3. They said that we can nudge our friends, send messages to all our mutual friends, no matter which network they’re on (But I am still checking this how to do this).
4. They also said that Explode have an API up and running that will allow us to write applications using Explode’s information.
