It was reported that My.Yahoo! has undergone a serious facelift
and now she looks pretty as shown below:
I want to see it by my self but when I check my account at My.Yahoo! I found the old ugly My.Yahoo! Page, as shown below:
So, I am not one of the lucky guys who are offered the beta account of the new My Yahoo!.
I am now wondering if it is related to the recent reopening of the My Netscape.
At long last, the Netscape team is proud to release a Beta of the next generation My.Netscape, at: http://my.netscape.com
This site will be live tomorrow (Tuesday 3/6).
My.Netscape will retain its identity as a personalized homepage, with a minimum of ad clutter. The initial release will in fact have no ads at all! Our programming staff has worked hard to create a framework that allows for scalability and UI elegance.
Anyway, this new improvement will eventually make its millions of users happy. We’ll just wish that one of these days My.Yahoo! can now handle widgets and other features that its competitors (like Microsoft and Google) are capable of.
I think, My.Yahoo! engineers need to rip off other sites again just what they did to Digg, or study the competitors ability and capability just like what they did with Google for them to succeed (like what happen to their Yahoo! Pipes) on innovating My.Yahoo!.
