Mike Arrington of Techcrunch has this great advice to all employees, “Don’t Spend Half Your Work Day On Facebook And Then Brag About It”.
His post is actually about an employee of Goldman Sachs in the UK who spend four hours in Facebook while at work, and when he was warned by his employer about his activity, he still visit the facebook and post the warning letter on his Facebook About Me, and then comment about it and said:
It’s a measure of how warped I’ve become that, not only am I surprisingly proud of this, but in addition, the first thing I did was to post it here, and that losing my job worries me far less than losing facebook ever could.
Well, I think it’s better to install site blocker than just warning employees…
Okay… I know that most of the Filipinos are not fan of Facebook but of Friendster. And some of them are spending much time at Friendster even if they’re at their office. However, I still haven’t heard of anyone kicked-out from their jobs because of this.
So, this is my advice too: “Don’t ever wait for your employers to kick you out of your job. Stay away from Friendster while at work!”
Check my post too: “Logging In to Freindster.Com“.
Update:
I am currently measuring my ability to SEO the keyword “Friendster Layouts“.
