Didn’t I talk about customizing Google Homepage before? Yes! I posted a blogpost before about adding Google Talk (not only to blogs and sites) into the customized Google Homepage.
And now, Google Homepage’s Theme has been made available by Google for further customizing our Google Homepage. So, here’s what to do:
- If you haven’t own any customized Google homepage yet, then visit this page.
- Click the linked phrase “Make It Your Own” and then check those items you want to become available on the customized homepage.
- On the upper-right side of the page, you’ll find “Select Theme”. Click it and choose a theme you want. Then your theme will be set.
You can further customized the Google Homepage, by adding tabs or adding stuff.
Adding Tab:
- Click the “Add tab” text link which can be found at the upper-left corner of the page.
- Fill the Tab Title and then press OK.
Adding Stuff:
- Click the “Add Stuff” text link which can be found at the upper-right corner of the page (next to “Select Theme”).
- Choose any of the stuffs available. You can even add Feeds by clicking the “Add By URL” which is found next to the “Search Content” button as shown below:
- Then enter the URL of the site or blog you want to be added into your Google Homepage. Add one URL at a time.
Then you’ll have a Google homepage like mine as shown below:
