Yesterday, I failed to post any updates on Technology because my time was spent arguing my stand during the informal debate between me and a Catholic Defender in Tomas Oppus, Southern Leyte. The Catholic Defender stood to prove that Christ is God, while I was on the negative side of it. Just like I said, it’s not a formal one although we follow the rules on the formal debate. Our audience were just the family member of this Catholic Defender.
The most exciting part of this debate, I think, was when he was there to ask me questions. In a 10 minutes cross-examination, he spent only two and similar questions which failed him to knock me out from that debate. The question is similar to the question raised by a Catholic Defender that Brother Rizalito Ocampo of the Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) met during a debate in Davao City Freedom Park.
Catholic Defender: In John 1:1,14, who is this Word who is God and became man?
Me: It’s the Word.
Catholic Defender: Yes, it’s the Word. But who is this Word?
Me: It’s the Word of God.
Catholic Defender: I repeat! In John 1:1,14, who is this Word who is God and became man?
Me: I will repeat my answer too. It’s the Word.
Catholic Defender: Who is this Word?
Me: I answered it already.
He repeated those questions, I think, 4 times. And after that, he immediately concluded that I didn’t answer his question and didn’t want to answer them. So, I shouted loudly which took their attention:
Me: (Sinagot kita ng ayon sa mga tanong mo! Sa sobrang kabubuhan mo di mo maintindihan sagot ko!) I answered you based on your questions. You’re just too dumb to understand my answer!
Yeah! I was really sorry for calling him dumb. But it’s the only word I know to describe him based on what he did during our debate. I just hope that his family learned something from it.

You’re boasting on something that truly is irrelevant. You call someone dumb when you don’t even have the grounds. You claim it as debate but your subject wasn’t even based on the same doctrin. Your are a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, aren’t you.
I pity you my friend. Because you are in a worldy church. You should know the history of your church and its founder. You’ll probably learn that you have been treated like a lab rat in and you have been exposed to a technique called classical conditioning. Your church is not even a religion but a cult.

just like what I said, i am sorry for calling him like that. But that’s the only thing i can say about him based on my observation during our debate.
what i presented here is just part of the debate which for me an exciting part. i wonder if you really understand what debate is… and what i presented here….
well, thanks for your pity. but i pity you also because you are judging us without examining our religion and doctrines first.
well if you will only examine your church and our church and the doctrines of your church and doctrines of our church with open mind…. and you’ll see who are the victims of the classical conditioning (brainwashing).
my advice is… examine your church and examine our church too and you’ll find the real cult.

you’re worst than an idiot. you failed miserably to answer his question because you know very well that Jesus is the word, the Word is God, therefore Jesus is God. Simple, yet Iglesia ni Manalo won’t accept it. Your church is not the true church because it was not founded by Christ. And if you accept the apostasy doctrine, you make Christ a liar. Your total apostasy doctrine is in flat contradiction to Christ’s teaching. Your doctrines contradict Scripture. Wake up !
