I was reading the blog of Matt Cutts yesterday and he said that he’s upgrading his Wordpress engine to the latest Wordpress version. He’s even doing some hacks on the codes of Wordpress and even told us that he’s not quite impressed of the new Wordpress since some its features, especially the autosave is already built in the new Firefox.

Today, I noticed that Matt Cutts blog has been totally hijacked by somebody.

What happened to the Google Guy. It seems that hacker got him through his blog.

But wait, I am wondering two things:

1. Is this activity of the hackers a part of the April Fools day present to Matt Cutts?
2. Is Matt Cutts fooling us, because today is the April Fools day?

What ever the reasons, we’ll know it if Matt will comment about it.

Shoemoney revealed that it’s just an April Fools Day prank, just like what he did with his blog.

At about 1:30pm or so I made the frontpage of shoemoney.com look like this. Course if you hit refresh you never saw the April fools day page.

Why did I do it on March 31? Well technically it was already April 1st in some parts of the world and also… if you wait until April 1st everyone already smells a rat! BTW don’t feel silly if I got you. I received literally 40 emails and instant messages from people who thought I got hacked or that my site was down. Most forums figured out it was a joke because of my love of the TV show LOST and also pondered how I did it just making the root site (shoemoney.com) and also only showing it once. …
