Ad AuctionPH New Commission Rate
Just recently, I was invited to try the Ad Auction of Auction.Ph. Yuga criticized (I don’t know if it is right to say criticize) it’s commission rate which is PhP10.00 per sale no matter what the price of the sold items.
Auction.Ph heard the sentiments of Pinoy Bloggers about it. So, I think, they realized that paying the publishers by PhP10.00 for every sale is not really good. Now, they emailed me that their new commission rate has been changed. (Just don’t understand what this means:)
Starting May 4, 2007, Auction.ph will be implementing adjustments to its Advertising Fee policy. Publishers will now earn a commission fee on a per-item-sold basis. This means that a fee of P10.00 shall be exacted from the seller for every item sold, 60% of which shall be remitted to you, the publisher.
With this policy change, Auction.ph hopes to further increase you Blog/Website’s earning potential.
I am really wondering what this means. Maybe I am just an idiot…
- Does it mean that PhP10.00 and the 60% of the price of the items sold will be award to the Ad Publishers?
- Does it mean that the seller will pay PhP10.00 to the Auction.Ph but 60% of the price sold will be awarded to the Ad Publisher?
- Does it mean that 60% of the PhP10.00 will be the commission of the Ad Publishers?
Please let us understand about it.
