I’m glad that a Pinoy Blogger, Bro. Gurbi, has participated our Free Banner Advertisement Program for Pinoy blogs. On the blogpost he wrote, he asked this:

… I am wondering what convinced SELaplana to launch this kind of program because base on my own experience, advertisements on upper portion of your blog generates a lot of income and SELaplana is taking away this opportunity to give way to Pinoy Bloggers.

Well, it’s true that the portion of my blog which is given for the banner ads of Pinoy Bloggers who will participate our program generates more clicks compared to other portions based on my observation. That’s actually the main reason why I choose that portion for the banner ads of our participants. It will be useless to participate our program if the banner ads displayed failed to generate traffic. Remember that the reason why you decided to participate our program is to earn traffic for your blog. So, I will also find ways that some visitors of this blog will visit yours.

But why am I doing this?

Just like what I said before, I want to help my co-Pinoy Bloggers especially those blogs who has fewer visitors to be discovered by others, and eventually gain visitors for their blogs. That’s our conviction when we launched the Pinoy Bloggers Directory last 2003.

We already did that before at the Directory site itself. But due to the limited resources we stopped the program.
