From the title of this post itself, you already know what I want to tell you now. Send your feeds to your friends through emails or what ever means in order to increase your readership.

Here on this blog, at first I employ the begging technique, in which at the very end of the post I beg readers by saying: “Please Subscribe My Feed!“. Well, I am glad to tell you that begging feed subscribers really works. Just take a look at the number of feeds subscribing my feeds. Yesterday, the number was 228 although we only have 217 for today. But before implementing that technique we only have more or less 170 subscribers.

What’s the point of trying to increase the number of Feed Subscribers?

At first, I found it not so important. But after learning that the number of feed subscribers influences the rank of a blog, I then realized that I really need to increase my readership.

But how? Actually, I am also looking for ways how to increase it. But there’s one thing that we need to do, and that is to write more quality and interesting articles and publish them into our blogs.

Then after doing that, what’s next? Actually, you should not seize writing quality and interesting articles. And while you’re doing that, find ways to promote your feeds to your blog’s visitors.

How to promote? Well, I already told you one, and that is begging visitors to subscribe your feed.  Google suggested something too: Share the feeds using the share button at the Google Reader and send the feed to their emails using the email feature of the Google Reader… and take a look at the image below, particularly the encircled part with red color.

It’s fun to share interesting items with your friends and coworkers. Google Reader has a “Share” button and a public page to go along with it, and some people have been putting that to great use. Once you start sharing, others can subscribe to your shared items and see what you see (when you want them to).

This works great for your feed-savvy friends. But, what if you want to share something you find in Reader with someone who doesn’t use a feed reader at all?

To the rescue comes a greatly improved email feature we’re releasing today. Even Marge Simpson has email, so interesting feed items you come across can now reach almost anyone.

Now, clicking the “Email” link at the bottom of an item gives you the ability to:

* send email from within Reader — no more second window for sending email.
* send the entire item as it appears in Reader, including formatting and images.
* use your Gmail address book (if you have one) to add contacts with auto-complete.

Google Reader

Actually, I want to try it but just don’t to whom I will send and share the feeds.
