When Sar Torai Became My Inspiration

Updates via email... Enter your email address:

Since the start of this blog (March 6, 2006), we experience better discussions just when our friend Sar Torai has accidentally visited our blog while he’s Googling about God.

It’s interesting to know, isn’t it? So, to our friend in Christ, Sar Torai, you’re very much welcome here.

My Apology

But I am also very much sorry if I intentionally hit his religion (my former religion) by offensive words, but not to hurt him. I did it in order to awaken him because devout members (like me before) of that religion couldn’t be awaken from believing that absurd beliefs by merely talking with them plainly.

Blogging About Religion

Some of you knew already that my real interest is in religion. But I just can’t focus my blog on religion because of the authority reasons and I don’t want to be qouted by others as if I am the authorized preacher of the church where I’m in. And secondly, this blog is heavily monetized.

But since, there are times that we need to feature or share to you some of my experiences related to religion, so… this is it… that’s the reason why we have few posts about religion.

Anyway, the discussions that we have here, am sure, will help other visitors realize how important is the Bible when serving God.

However, I want to remind you that when reading discussions in religion, you must open your heart and mind and be ready to accept the truth… lower your pride too.

Below is the list of my posts with Sar Torai inspirations:

    Dear friend is Christ-

Rest assured that your words have not offended me, and I thank you for your welcome here. However, as I just posted in your thread on John 1, I insist that if you are going to make the sort of assertions about the Catholic Church that you have made, you back them up with specific accusations of where you believe the Church to be in error, and what Magisterial documents of the Church teach the alleged error. It is not possible to respond to random charges of “The Catholic Church started when the true Church of Christ was devoured by Wolves and held by False Prophets” in this type of format without me writing out the entire history of the Catholic Church, which I don’t think you want me to do on your blog.

Although, as a Catholic, I know the Bible to be the inspired, inerrant word of God, this does not mean that I agree with your fallible interpretation of the Bible.

How do you know the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God?

How do you know what books belong in the Bible?

How do you know that your interpretations of scripture are correct?

What is the pillar and bulwark of Truth?

Just like what I said before on the discussion that we have on my previous post, one of the false teaching that the Roman Catholic Church teaches is the divinity of Christ, because Christ and the Apostle’s teaching is clear that the one true God is the Father, not the Son nor the Holy Spirit (John 17:1-3 and I Corinthians 8:6).

I can see how one could be misled into believing such a heresy, using the Protestant “pick-and-choose” method of Bible study, but if you bothered to read the entire book, and read each passage in relation to the whole, you would come to see that whoever led you away from the Catholic Church, the One True Chruch established by Christ himself, did you a grave injustice.
