My Top Ten (10) Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007:

Note:

If the list contains only the term “Blog” plus the number, it means that I am still looking for blogs that are launched since August 2006 which are considered influential based on their readership, traffic and rankings.

This post is actually an entry to the writing project organized by the Digital Filipino entitled, “The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007“. Below is the guidelines in joining the program:

To join this effort, please do the following:

  • Write a blog post and pick your choice of 10 (or less) emerging influential blogs. Any blog in the world can be picked. (You can update the same post entry up to July 28.)
  • Include a link to Janette Toral‘s post to help spread the word. (You can also vote for it in Digg)
  • Post a comment and let us know about your entry. Only one entry per blogger. (Check out some work-in-progress entries)

Every week, beginning May 19, Ms. Janette Toral will:

  • List the blogs that you’ve chosen. Only those that are blogs and created from August 2006 to the present shall be listed.
  • List of blog post entries from participants.
  • Feature a sponsor. (Interested sponsors can email me through digitalfilipino at gmail.com)

On August 1, 2007, we will do the following:

  • List the The Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs in 2007 based from your posts. (Final review of posts on July 29 to 31)
  • Janette Toral will pick ten posts in random who will get one hundred dollars (US$100) each.

    Hello. I’m glad to see that you are almost there in completing your top 10. May I request if you can update your post a bit. I noticed that Jakel’s entry referred to your post as the one organizing the contest. Perhaps, change the “I” part to “Janette” or refer to our site for the full rules.     Hi Leyteño!

    When I first looked at your list (draft) back in May 21 (see my comment above), I wasn’t in your Top 10 list. Recently, I noticed some incoming traffic from this post and decided to check out the referrer traffic today.

    It was quite a pleasant surprise to find out today that you revised the list and added me. WOW, THANKS!

    However, I don’t think Janette is aware of your final revisions since your vote for me obviously didn’t get included in the Final Week 11 summary (or from previous weeks). I can account for and name all the 19 lovely bloggers who nominated me… so I think your final revisions didn’t get counted. I guess you can always drop Janette a line.

    Thanks, anyway… even if the revision isn’t reflected in final standings. :)
