I am about to give my $100-worth of review to “Health and Wealth” blog (view the pending blog for review), but the blog has been down for several days so I decided to modify my review and post it here as tip.

To let you know, “Health and Wealth” topic is really too broad niches. If you will create a blog with that niches, then you’ll be creating a large site with two broad topics: Health, and Wealth.

Anyway, there’s no problem in creating a very large blog especially if the blog you’re about to create is just for your passion. Actually my blog has started like that. However, it might be good if you’ll create the very targeted niche blogs if ever you want to earn much from them.

For example.

You really want to create a health blog. So to start with, think of topics that are related to health in which you are passionate and knowledgeable of. Do you think you can write about Diabetes, Hypertension and Cancer? If so, then you can create three niche blogs. One for Diabetes. Another blog for Hypertension. Another one for Cancer.

Then with each of the niche blog that you have,  think of subtopics which you can now consider as the blog’s categories.

• For Diabetes: General Info, News, Features, Tips
• For Hypertension: General Info, News, Features, Tips
• For Cancer: General Info, News, Features, Tips

Then what’s next? Well, the next is to create a main blog for your health blogs which will contain all the updates you’ve made to your three targeted blogs. And finally, you have now your own Health related network blogs.

Now, what’s the reason why are we doing this? Well, there are actually two main reasons why doing this is better than creating a very large blog just like what you’d witnessed with my blog.  And they are: Traffic and Monetization.

Traffic

It’s true that promoting a single blog is very much easier compared to promoting several blogs.  However, promoting the blogs on your network is much effective in gaining traffic than promoting a single blog. Why?

Okay, consider this:

Say, for example, you’ve created the 3 blogs mentioned above: Diabetes blog, Hypertension blog, and Cancer blog. And the result of your blog promotion, whatever method you used, gained you 10 visitors to each of your blog. But since your 3 blogs are interlinked as in they are part of your health blog network, then there’s a big possibility that most of the visitors of each of your blog will surf the other blogs on your network.

Okay, let’s say 100% of your visitors visit your other blogs on the network. If the 10 visitors of your Diabetes blog visit also the Hypertension and Cancer blogs, 10 visitors of Hypertension blog visit the Diabetes blog and Cancer blog, 10 visitors of Cancer blog visit Diabetes and Hypertension blog also, then each of your blog gained 30 visitors.

That’s what actually happened with my blogs such as the “Make Money Online” blog, Songs Lyrics blog and the Philippine Exam Results blog.

Monetization 

Based on my experiences in dealing with advertisers, most of them want to publish their ads on the very specific niche because they want to have the very targeted users. Remember that targeted users are the ones who can be converted easily into Dollars. This happens when you are looking for direct advertisers whether directly contacted you or through the third party ad services like TextLinkAds, ReviewMe, Adbrite and others.

And not only that, if you are publishing Adsense ads too, the ads displayed will be much relevant. Thus, gaining you higher CTR and payout.

In other words, you’ll be earning much from Adsense and direct ads as well.
