SwitchPlanet.com is a good site for exchange stuffs. You share your stuffs like CDs, DVDs, Books and even clothes, and other member will share you their stuffs too.  It’s a good way of saving money. Instead of buying the stuff you want, what you need to do is just to exchange your stuff with that you wished to have.

The SwitchPlanet.Com is just a medium where users can trade-in stuffs. They do not ask their members to pay fees as they use the site. However, they’re asking everyone if they have the heart to help the maintenance of the site to drop some donations.

How does it work?

Well, the process is just simple. What you need to do is to register and be member of the SwitchPlanet.com. Then list down all your stuffs that you want to trade-in with other members. This is to let other members know what stuffs do you have.

Browsing the stuffs available for trade-in is also easy. They are categorized as CDs, DVDs, Games, and Books. And each of these main category has sub categories such as Most Wanted, Most Switched, Most Available and Newest. Just take a look at the snapshow below:

Now, if you wish to own something, just browse the site and look for the stuffs you’re looking for. For example, you want to own the Anchorman – The Legend of of Ron Burgondy (Full Screen Edition). So go to the DVD category and search for it. Or you can use the Search Box for more convenience. If you found it, then choose what you want to do. There are four options you can choose: Have It, Want It, Buy It and Wish It.

You will be using the “SwitchBucs” as the currency for the exchange. You’ll earn SwitchBucs if you send a stuffs to other member and a number of SwithBucs will deducted from you if you receive a stuff from other members. All transaction can be tracked within your dashboard.
