Even Idiots Can Blog Better Than Smart Bloggers
You are interested to blog. You want to call your self a blogger. You even want to join the talks in the blogosphere. But then your problem is you don’t know how to write articles for your blog. So, you don’t try it.
Now, you’re asking me what you can do to improve your writing skills.
Well. I want to tell you that those who do not take the risk will never succeed. Do you think McArthur would win against the Japanese forces if he and his comrades didn’t take the risk on fighting them?
Now, if you would try writing articles for your blog, actually there’s no risk in there. You’re just afraid that people who could read your articles will persecute you and tease you every time you post new articles. Do you think, you’ll be killed if your visitors will laugh at you?
Okay. I want you to look at me and think how I started blogging.
I know most of you didn’t know how hard I tried just to enhance my English writing skills. I am now in the blogosphere because of my desire to improve my knowledge in English and my style in writing.
That was in the year 2003 when started blogging in English language. I know I was idiot in English. My writings were awkward to read. There were times that the readers misinterpreted what I wrote. And often times my blog’s visitors dropped their comments telling me to stop publishing those idiotic articles. All of the visitors who criticized me were my Kababayan (Fellow Filipino). They even told me that I was just giving shame to my fellow Filipinos all over the world.
Well, at first I was hurt and embarrassed. I almost stopped. Yes! … almost… But that didn’t really stop me to blog. If I stopped blogging, could I enhance my writing skills? If it happened that I stopped blogging, maybe I am not here now sharing with you what I experienced, what I learned and what I realized as I blog.
So, if you really want to improve you writing skills, then start blogging now. I know there are visitors of your blog who will criticize you, but don’t immediately think negative things. Consider all the criticism your guide to make your way of writing become well. Consider your visitors as your mirror. You can’t see yourself without the mirror. In other words, what ever your visitors say, then that’s what you are. You’re thankful enough that someone told you what you are. So, once you know your mistakes, your problems or anything that makes you look bad, then try to learn from them and correct them, so that next time you can present your self as better one.
If someone will call you idiot, dumb or whatever, don’t be insulted… don’t ever be embarrassed… don’t ever be discouraged. Accept that and consider it as your power to learn more.
Don’t you know that an idiot like you can be better than those who are smart? If you believe that you can be better than those who are smart, then join me in showing them that idiot can blog very well.

You are right SELaplana. If you are being held back by fear and you decided not to continue, then blogging is not for you. Just like I always say, Blogging is a fun world, yet it is harsh and full of challenges.
Don’t let other’s criticisms let you down. If you really are determined to blog, then those things should mean nothing to you.

I got through this site because another blogger mentioned your “poor” blogging skills. But I got hooked with a lot of your posts during the day; I got interested in several of your posts, including personal ones.
But despite all the criticism around you have been able to beat the odds. You write well and you have gained a lot of readers. Even without an internet connection at home it was not a reason for you not to blog each day!
This is the reason why I start blogging. I want to developed some skill. I’ve never been good in English. English is only 3 units in engineering, and I just came from a Barangay High with no proper class room. Is your blogs at blogger.com still online?
