I wrote this article in order to answer the request of those who need advice on what online money-making scheme should they engage that can support their daily needs.

Okay, this is the situation:

You lost your job and you are now confused what to do because your family depends on you. You learned how I survived without job or business. You learned that I am just sitting here in front of my computer, blogging, but then I managed to earn money which is enough to support my daily needs. So, you asked me now what you should do to earn much for your family.

I think, your situation and mine are too different. When I was still managing my own café, I was already earning a little from blogs. When I lost my business last December 2005, I was already earning $300 from my blogs and it’s already enough to finance my needs. So, when I became fulltime in blogging, my earning increased, and even up to the day I wrote this article, my online income continuously increases.

On the other hand, you are just beginner on blogging. You even don’t have a website that caters thousands of visitors. You don’t even have a blog that currently ranked high. In other words, you still need more time to work for your online money-making tasks.

I think, launching your own blogs can’t give you assurance that you’ll immediately earn money that will be enough for your family’s needs. And the worst thing is, you need to spend your money for your blog first before you’ll earn money from it.

Having blogs is like starting your own company. You need to have capital to spend for things like: Internet connection, your blog’s domain and hosting services, blog marketing, your daily allowance while you’re working for your blog, and other necessary expenses.

In short, there is no easy money for new online money maker.

So here’s my advice. You can choose either of them.

(1) Go Start Your Own Company

If you have enough money to finance your daily blogging activities for 6 months, then go and start your own blog. Do not use Blogspot hosting services. Buy your own domain and hosting services, and start configuring your blog. After that, start blogging.

Every day post 1 to 3 or more articles into your blog. Not just articles but articles with quality, relevant and interesting contents. And then before you end up your daily blogging activities, don’t forget also to take some blog marketing activities, including the SEO.

If you consistently do the necessary things for your blog, then I’m sure after 6 months of working, you’ll now start earning satisfactory amount from your blog.

(2) Look for a Problogging Job

If you think, you don’t have enough money to start your own blogging company, then you need to find a job for you.

If you really have knowledge on blogging or writing, why not try to contact the owners of any blogs and ask them if they are looking for problogger who will blog for their blogs. I’m sure there are blogs or network of blogs that are looking for probloggers.

(3) Affiliates?

Actually, I tried several affiliates and I really make money with them. But I am worried they can’t help you now. Remember that you still don’t have a high traffic site. And most of this affiliates that I tried require the members to have a site like that.

(4) Networking Scheme?

I know that you already had encountered pyramiding scheme of making money (offline). They also call it, “Networking”. In the online world, tons of companies offered similar making money scheme. You join, pay the membership and recruit. That’s how the business works. But, I do not recommend it to those who want to earn money online. I hate this kind of business because you’re just earning from the membership fee that your network earns. And most of all, the ones really making money are only those on the higher rank.

Now, if ever you choose the number 2 or none of the 4, I want to advice you to still do the number 1. Even if you find a better offline job, having your own blog that makes money is really better.

You know, blogs really helped me during the fall of my business. If I don’t have blogs at the time, I don’t know where I am now… I don’t know what happens to me now.
