The long-awaited spin-off to popular youth drama Palace has finally arrived! Featuring a completely new cast in the same royal setting, Palace S (a.k.a Prince Hours and Prince Hoo) marks the acting debut of pop star SE7EN, billed here under his real name Choi Dong Wook. Reimagining modern-day Korea with a fictional monarchy, the first Palace (a.k.a. Princess Hours) was one of the biggest hits of 2006, launching young stars Yoon Eun Hye, Ju Ji Hoon, and Kim Jung Hoon into great fame. While Palace revolves around Yoon Eun Hye’s commoner-turned-princess role, Palace S turns the focus to a long-lost prince played by SE7EN, who especially took time out of his busy schedule to participate in the drama. Appearing opposite the young star are rising actresses Park Shin Hye (Trees in Heaven) and Heo Yi Jae (Sunflower) and princely rival Kang Doo of Jadu.

Poor but carefree Lee Hoo (SE7EN) is just a regular joe who delivers take-out for a Chinese restaurant. His life takes a dramatic turn though when he finds out he is actually a member of the royal family. The long-lost prince is brought back to the palace to start a new royal life. But he has trouble adjusting to his newfound identity, not to mention his evolving relationship with longtime friend Soon Ae (Heo Yi Jae) and beautiful blue blood Sae Ryung (Park Shin Hye), whose dream of marrying into the royal family is affected by Lee Hoo’s appearance. Adding to his headaches is the determined Lee Joon (Kang Doo), Lee Hoo’s rival for the title of Crown Prince.
