The idea that I want to share to you tonight is already clear on the title of this post: “Lazy Blogger Will Never Succeed.” And in order to know why lazy blogger will never succeed on his blogging career, let us define first what the term “lazy” means.

Princeton defines it as, “faineant” or those who are “disinclined to work or exertion.” In other words, lazy bloggers are bloggers who don’t want to work for their blog. They are the bloggers who dream to become successful but then didn’t do anything for their blog. What they did is just to lie down and sleep, just like what the Holy Bible said:

09How long will you lie there, you sluggard?
When will you get up from your sleep?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest- (Proverbs 6:9-10, NIV)

The Bible called him, the disgraceful son or the opposite of the wise son:

5 He who gathers crops in summer is a wise son,
but he who sleeps during harvest is a disgraceful son. (Provers 5:10, NIV)

The lazy blogger left his blog in a mess, just like what the lazy son did as told by the Bible:

31 thorns had come up everywhere,
the ground was covered with weeds,
and the stone wall was in ruins. (Proverbs 24:31, NIV)

And the result is, he will never succeed on attaining the things he’s dreaming. He will suffer in poverty, failure or scarcity:

34 and poverty will come on you like a bandit
and scarcity like an armed man. (Proverbs 24:34, NIV)

So, what’s the advice of the Holy Bible to those who are lazy ones? According to the Bible, they should ask the animals and the animals will answer them. Or they can ask the birds in the air and they will tell them:

7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; (Job 12:7, NIV)

As bloggers, we need to realize the truth behind the labor of ants. Remember they don’t have commander, ruler or overseer, just like us bloggers who don’t have any boss because we are the boss of our own, yet they gather and store food while they still have time:

6 Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise! (Proverbs 6:6, NIV)

7 It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,

8 yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest. (Proverbs 6:7-8, NIV)

Now, if you really want to succeed in blogging and making money online through your blogs, you must not just dream to succeed but should work hard… write articles for your blog, socialize with other bloggers by visiting their blogs and dropping your comments to their blogs and searching for the ideas or thoughts that you can put into writing for your blog. Then one day, you’ll be rewarded with the popularity and wealth that you’re dreaming of.
