I don’t know if you already noticed that popular blogs tend to become more popular compared to those still hardly getting their popularity.

Let’s take as an example the Blog of John Chow. This blog is already penalized by Google because of John Chow’s way of getting backlinks, but then the blog is still getting more traffic and more popularity.

The Reason

When I say popular blogs, what I really mean is the blogs that cater thousands of regular visitors and feed readers. If you have blogs like this, I am pretty sure that you don’t spend lot of time promoting and marketing your blogs because your visitors are the ones promoting and marketing it to their friends, and blogs’ visitors and readers.

Just imagine when 50% of your thousands of visitors mention (with links) you at their own blogs. Now let’s say, your blog has 3,000 daily visitors and 1,000 feed readers, which means you have 4,000 daily readers. If 50% of it will mention you daily on their blogs, which is equal to 2,000 readers, then these 2,000 readers have 100 daily readers each which is also equal to 200,000 readers who read about you. Now if 50% of it visit your blog through the links published by your direct readers on their blogs, in other words, your blog got another 100,000 new readers.

Networking Scheme

This is actually like a networking scheme of promoting products but you’re actually not doing a networking scheme. It only happens that your direct blog’s visitors can be your instrument to promote your blog to their own visitors. And the more you have regular visitors, the more new visitors will be referred into your blog.

But of course, it will only happen if you’re publishing interesting articles into your blog daily. You might have thousands of visitors everyday, if you’re blog contains a non-buzzing, not interesting or any boring ones, then i”m sure your popularity will never grow but will soon drop.

So, here’s what you need to do:

1. Strive hard to gain more daily visitors until the number of your daily visitors reaches 1,000 or more. You can do this by constantly publishing interesting, informative and buzzing articles into your blog. Promote your blog to the visitors of other blogs, especially those popular bogs, by joining their conversation (at the comment section). 2. Establish your own target on what month should your blog reach the 1,000 mark of daily visitors.
3. Don’t ever be discouraged by any failure you face. Just continue doing the things that you need to do.
4. Don’t be lazy. Remember that lazy blogger will never succeed.
